The Overstock.com Visa Card by Chase is designed for those with good credit who plan to take advantage of the reward program.
Through the reward program, cardholders earn 3 reward points for every $1 purchase made at Overstock.com and 1 reward point for every $1 purchase made elsewhere. Every 2,500 Reward points can be redeemed for a $25 Overstock.com reward certificate.
In addition, cardholders are enrolled in the Club O Membership program for free for the first 12 months. Through the Club O Membership program, cardholders can save a generous 5% and get $1 shipping for every purchase made at Overstock.com. After the first 12 months, a $29.95 membership fee will apply if you choose to continue your membership in Club O. You will not be billed at the start of your second year for membership in Club O, unless you choose to renew your membership. Club O is a loyalty program wholly administered by Overstock.com Inc., and is separate from the Overstock.com Rewards Visa program from Chase.
The card has no annual fee and a low introductory rate is available for purchases and balance transfers for the first three to six months, depending on your credit history. For those who qualify, the card has a reasonably low interest rate for purchases and balance transfers, but is not ideal for those who plan to carry a revolving balance. In addition, there is a minimum cap for cash advances; so no matter how low the Prime Rate falls (the APR is tied to the Prime Rate), the interest rate will not go below the minimum cap.
Therefore, those who qualify for the lowest rate offered, can afford to pay in full each month (to avoid finance charges), and frequently shop at Overstock.com (to take advantage of the reward points), will benefit most from what the Overstock.com Visa Card by Chase has to offer.
